She also works for broadcast media reporting and producing documentaries. She is currently writing her third book and working on a documentary on resilience. She has received numerous awards and honours for her work including the Women of the Year award, the Internews award for excellence in international reporting and the Prix "Vérité" for excellence in non-fiction writing.
