Jamie Redknapp is one of the most popular and talented footballers of his generation. His career was cut short by injury preventing him from achieving the accolades his talent deserved. He started his career at A.F.C. Bournemouth, before going on to play for Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and finally Southampton. Jamie was also capped 17 times for England, although his injuries prevented a sustained run. He has moved into publishing; producing a magazine called Icon.

Jamie was active from 1989 until 2005. At club level, he scored 34 goals from 314 appearances in the domestic leagues. He won one major trophy during his career - the 1995 League Cup with Liverpool. He joined Sky Sports and is one of their principle pundits, passing on his knowledge of the sport and players. He also writes a column for the Daily Mail.
