David Davies OBE has been actively involved in association football for more than 35 years, first as a BBC Television Correspondent and Presenter and then as a senior administrator and more recently Executive Director at the Football Association. He retired from the F.A. in October 2006 and is currently an advisor to a wide range of companies which share his vision of what football and sport can achieve in the future. He currently broadcasts regularly on BBC News 24, Radio 5 and Sky News.

Over 22 years, including periods as a Political Correspondent and Education Correspondent, he reported on numerous General Elections and World Cups. He is probably best known in football circles for his leading role in promoting the game as a power for good both on and off the pitch.
